Engineered and manufactured in Sweden, the FA40
Series is a new range of heavy-duty folding arm
awnings designed for terraces, bungalows, balconies,
kiosks, shops, restaurants and more.

Modular Design

The Turnils FA40 Series Folding Arm Awnings features a streamlined approach to design that allows the
same components to be used across different models within the range,
making it a favourite among awnings fabricators.

The FA40 Series hardware is available in three standard colours – black,
silver & white.

Adding motorisation to your Turnils FA40 Series Folding Arm Awnings for
ease of operation. Operated by remote control,
you can control up to four awnings using just
the one remote control.

In addition to motorisation, selected models
also offer a range of other optional accessories
including:
Pitch Control
To provide maximum shading comfort, Pitch Control is
available on a number of Sirocco models. The projection
angle is adjustable from -5° to -40°, just by rotating the
pitch control eyelets with the crank handle.

For variable
pitch, the unique easy-tilt function allows you to adjust
the pitch angle when the awning is fully projected.

A Telescopic Support is offered on all Sirocco models to
provide added stability for the awning. The support slides
into the front profile of the Sirocco model, extending to
the ground on the lower end to provide extra support
and stability.

As a result, this option is especially suited to wider
width awnings, for example, at restaurants or outdoor
seating areas where a wide awning will be projected for
long periods of time. The telescopic support helps to keep
even the widest awning stable, for added peace of mind.

Turnils Cabrera XL Cassette Awning

The Turnils Cabrera XL Cassette Awning is
a beautiful, modern Swedish
design, fully
cassetted to securely protect fabric
from both dirt and moisture.

The heavy duty folding arms of Cabrera
use Dyneema® connections for
superior strength and durability, while
powerful springs ensure excellent
fabric tension. The Cabrera
XL awning will adorn any
home or commercial building.

Turnils Cabrera XL Cassette Awning can be manually operated or operated using a motor and remote control.

As such, the awning can easily move in and out at the touch of a button.

When motorised, the awning can have optional sensors to retract the awning in strong winds.

A Sun and wind sensor is also available so the awning can be used to control the climate inside by extending automatically when the sun comes out to shade the windows and retract if the wind picks up.

Global 2020 Folding Arm Awning

The Global 2020 Folding Arm Awning is compact in every sense of the word

The Global 2020 awning offers a full range of arm sizes from 1600mm projection to the massive 4100mm arms, with intermediate arm sizes of 1850mm, 2100mm, 2350mm 2600mm, 2850mm, 3100mm and 3600mm to complete the full range. The width possibilities range from 2010mm to 12 metres.

The Global 2020 Folding Arm Awning is mounted from a powder coated 40mm x 40mm steel square bar adding strength and versatility to your awning. With an end profile of 200mm by 200mm it sits snugly against the wall giving an unobtrusive appearance to the awning.

The pitch of the awning is set during the installation process and has a range between 5 and 60 degrees.

For Awnings over 6 metres wide sit is recommended that they be motorized. If the awning is up to 6 metres wide, an optional extended valance option is also available.

The Australia Open Body Folding Arm Awning is an immensely strong and attractive system and has proven to be one of the most versatile awnings for commercial and domestic use. Constructed around a 40mm x 40mm powder coated steel square bar, with 70mm and 78mm galvanised roller tube and neatly styled heavy extruded front bar, features heavy duty arms with stainless steel chain.

An 7:1 gearbox is standard and a wide angle pitch range of 5-60 degrees is achievable at installation with pitch control brackets. Individual arm pitch control is available with the pitch adjustment being made on each arm using a crank handle. An optional extendable valance front bar enables the Australia Folding Arm Awning to provide further enhanced sun and weather protection.

With arm sizes from 1600mm to 3600mm, a span of up to 12m is possible simply by adding the various modules which make up the system. All Australia Folding Arm Awnings over six metres wide should be motorised, however, smaller awnings are also recommended for automation for ease of operation. Standard colours are white, grey or ivory, but any powdercoat colour is available on request (at additional cost).
